Lower Saxony - Land of diversity (1997 - 2015)

Lower Saxony, with its 40 million inhabitants, is a large state known for its diversity. It offers a long coastline with islands as well as low mountain ranges, historic cities and large industrial sites. Dense forests alternate with agriculture. For this portrait of the country, KaJo was able to enjoy switching between very contrasting themes: from farmers' markets to steelworks and cathedrals and across to beautiful islands in the rough North Sea. To do this, however, countless kilometers had to be covered in this vast country. in 2016, the illustrated book was published by Hinstorff-Verlag with an insightful text by the theologian and author Hans Werner Dannowski, who died the same year.
