Scotland's soul - 2018
A quarter of a century after our first photographic book on Scotland, Jackie and KaJo went on a very personal journey, visiting the places and people they had grown to love 25 years earlier. We spent six months on the road between the Borders and Shetland Islands in our beloved Bimobile camper van, seeking out the most spectacular landscapes and the Scottish people's soul. Jackie, who was born in Edinburgh and understands the Scottish dialect, was particularly good at this. Now, with the internet, email and digital cameras, we were completely differently equipped than 25 years ago. But it was also clear that it had become more difficult to find distinctive characters and situations. Our illustrated book was published by National Geographic in 2018.
